Baseball in Switzerland @ Wil Pirates | 2022 – now

After finishing my International Baccaulerate in May of 2022, my family and I moved to Switzerland, where I picked up where I left off in 2014 with the BONN CAPITALS. In the summer of 2022, I joined the local Baseball club, the WIL DEVILS/WIL PIRATES.

Spiritual Archery | 2017

In the downtime, when there is little activity in Baseball/Softball due to the winter season, I like to go out and do some spiritual archery. This style of archery focuses on several breathing exercises that calm the mind while shooting an arrow. It is a style focusing on controlled movements, calming the mind, and finding the target.

Softball @ Bonn international school | 2015 – 2019

After quitting Baseball at the BONN CAPITALS, I started playing Softball at my school in 2015. I was allowed to play one year earlier than I was supposed to because I already had lots of experience in the sport. I was known as the first “illegal” player amongst my teammates and resumed playing 2nd base as I did during Baseball.

Achievements

  • Assigned Team-Captain for the BONN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOl Softball team in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
  • Awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) by both team coaches in 2017 and 2019.
  • In 2018, our team made school history by winning the NECIS Championship for the first time out of any sport at our school.

Baseball Camp @ Stanford University | 2013

In 2013, my family had a long trip to the United States of America, where I had the privilege of attending a baseball camp at Stanford University. The camp was organized and held on the university grounds and was an introduction as well as an intensive training camp for new and already existing players.

Golf | 2012

In 2012, I wanted to challenge myself, and I wanted to see if I can hit a resting ball just as well as I can hit a flying ball. Hence in 2012, I did a “DGV-Kindergolfabzeichen” reaching a silver rank.

YUDO | 2009

Together with my Dad, I did a couple of years of YUDO and managed to get a yellow belt.

Baseball @ Bonn Capitals | 2008 – 2014

In 2008, I officially joined the local Baseball Team, the “BONN CAPITALS.” The first position I played was right-field, after which I played catcher for a year. Finally, in 2009, I started playing 2nd base, which would become the position I would play throughout my Baseball and Softball career.

From 2008 to 2011, I played in the T-Ball league of the BONN CAPITALS before joining the Young League in 2012, where my career as a 2nd baseman would continue.
